Thérence Nduwayo

National Denominational Coordinator – Anglican Church

My name is Rev. Therence Nduwayo and I am married to lldegonde Msengimana, together we have 4 Children. Two sons Bear Blessing Nduwayo and Bee Prince Nduwayo; and two daughters Lina Grace Dushime and Kelly Cardine Akeza. I was born in Burundi in a poor family. My family was animist and knew nothing about the Living God. My father died when I was one year old and I grew up under the care of my mother, with all the occult practices I experienced from her. At the age of five, an evangelist from nearby church pleaded my mother to allow me to go and attend the Sunday school class, that was my first contact with Christianity. I was thirsty of meeting Jesus Christ as my personal savior, but I could not until 01/6/1991, when the Word touched my heart and the Holy Spirit changed my whole life, starting of the New Life with Christ.

In 2016 I was appointed field-worker of Community Bible Study in my Diocese of Bujumbura. Now from September 2018, I thank God to consider me worthy to stand as Provincial Community Bible Study Denominational Coordinator in the Anglican Church of Burundi. I would consider the passages in Ephes. 2:10 as a testimony to the Grace of God and to the Battle He constantly fights for us and in Ephes.6:19 to seek your prayers for the glorification of His Kingdom.

VISION: Anglican Church wants a community that is rooted in and enlightened by the Word of God.
